Q: What inspired you to become an Author?

A: I have severe stuttering, making it difficult to talk. Writing was my way of communicating and I love creating stories for others.

Q: What genre doing you love writing the most?

A: Science Fiction is my top favorite. There is so much to create with that genre, it’s amazing.

Q: What genre do you least like to write?

A: Mysteries is a tough one. I have trouble creating a scene without revealing the big mystery at the end, but I am working on it.

Q: How do you write/ prepare your manuscripts?

A: Depending on what I’m writing, I’ll look through my old journals, seeing if I can get inspired from my past adventures, exaggerating it to fit what I’m writing.

Q: Any methods you do when writing certain scenes?

A: For emotional, gore, or love scenes, I’ll listen to certain songs over and over again. This helps me be immerse on what I’m writing. For example: In “Korccon Redemption” At the end of the book, I listened to “Feast on the living” by The Agonist. The song motivated me to write out what I felt.

A: Another one I do is method acting but in my writing… It’s a long dangerous story.

Q: What is the most challenging as an Author?

A: Sometimes I immerse myself into my book too much, causing mental and health problems. There are times that I got to remember to step back a bit and enjoy the outdoors or play with my dogs. Getting out with friends and family is important as writing does cause depression and more, so I always have to remember to live life.

Q: Educational background?

A: I studied in a community college for my Associates in Theatre Arts and Psychology. Later on, I went to a University for my Bachelor of Art in English Professional Writing. I did took a break from Uni during COVID, supporting the family businesses.

Q: Any tips for future writers?

A: Writing is very lonely and depressing sometimes, but if you have a passion for what you love and know that this career would be difficult, then go for it. The achievements are worth it at the end. Just remember why you started writing and let that love sync in.

A: If you’re in it for the money… Good luck. Because this career doesn’t pay well and it would be a while to make an income to live on… Trust me. Just keep writing and enjoy what you do.
