Q: Why isn’t your name on your book covers?
A: I feel that my name isn’t really important. I mean yes it is, but I want the readers to enjoy my stories that I publish and honestly that’s more important to me. I do have my name on the back of the books and in the front page for my Korccon series, so maybe I’ll add my name in bold in future non-Korccon books.
A: Another reason is that I create my own book covers and I love how they come out, but I feel my name being slapped right on the cover ruins my art work. I know it sounds dumb, but again, it might change for future books.
Q: How long does it take you to publish a book?
A: In reality it takes 3-4 months, but I do have part time jobs and other things in my life, so it takes almost a year. Also I do edit my own books, so that’s time consuming but I enjoy it.
Q: What do you do on your spare time?
A: I spend time with my dogs, write other book projects, and sometimes play video games.
Q: Why don’t you advertise that much on your books?
A: Honestly, I’m trying to find a balance between writing and promoting. I love writing, but I know that I need to schedule a time to promote as well.
A: Another reason is that I adopted a new dog. She’s a Belgian Malinois. She’s sweet and kind, but really hyper and wants to play 24/7. So I have been spending time with her and training her to be my service dog.
Q: Are the people in your books real?
A: The characters in my books are base on people that I met in real life. All I did was examined how they act and just amplified their characteristics. For example, Alice Avery is base on someone in real life. She isn’t a mass murderer that eats people. The real Alice is someone that loves big game hunting and fishing. She is passionate about hunting, but sometimes admits that she doesn’t like hunting animals. Yet, she can’t help it as she loves the rush. What I did was I took that characteristic and over exaggerate that part of her.
